BLM to Bait Trap Wild Horses from Silver King and Triple B HMAs

Ely, Nev. – The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Ely District on or about Wednesday, July 27, 2016, will begin gathering and removing up to 100 excess wild horses from outside the Silver King Herd Management Area (HMA), about 90 miles south of Ely, Nev. The BLM will also gather and remove up to 130 excess wild horses from in and around the Triple B HMA, about 30 miles northwest of Ely. Hay and water will be used to gather the horses.
